For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin.

Temptation is unavoidable, Jesus was tempted in "every" way So Jesus is able to understand how hard it can be. We need to be like Jesus and respond with Scripture when faced with temptation. Knowing what God says in the bible will help you be like Jesus and overcome temptation. This shows us the importance of consistently learning the bible.
