If you read this book in the bible you will see that 25 years passed between when God's promise was made and when it was actually fulfilled. Abraham was 100 years old when his son was born. God sometimes makes us wait so we will learn to trust him in the meantime. Don't get impatient like Abraham's wife Sarah did. Impatience caused her much trouble and will cause you much trouble also.
